Former Chelsea striker, Chris Sutton, has named Liverpool as the team to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
The former Premier League striker said, having watched the performances of the Reds.
Liverpool have been able to beat Bournemouth and Newcastle United in their most recent games.
The Reds went down to 10 men after Alexis Mac Allister and Virgil van Dijk picked up red cards in their respective fixtures.
Despite this, the Reds managed to secure all three points.
Sutton said that Jurgen Klopp’s team is showing the mentality of champions
“They are probably the ones who I think can push Manchester City the most,” he told BBC.
“I still think City will win the Premier League, but Liverpool needed that yesterday [against Newcastle] will go from strength to strength – if they can keep hold of Mohamed Salah.”
